Hannah Brewster-Stein has made the conscious decision to live out her dreams.  For too long, Hannah settled with just getting by.  She was doing that which was necessary and letting go of childhood dreams in favor of what Hannah thought it meant to be a parent: work, self-sacrifice, work, exhaustion.  This created a toxic pattern of thought that affected Hannah’s mental and physical health.  Then, she realized, she was unintentionally teaching her children the same life-limiting mantras:

  • Life is a struggle
  • Grownups are tired all the time
  • Dreams need to be realistic
  • Anxiety cannot be cured
  • Health is precarious
  • Fear keeps you safe

Not wanting her children to repeat the self-defeating cycle and already seeing similar anxieties in her ten year old son that she carries herself, she developed new mantras:

  • I live my dreams
  • I love my life
  • I am healthy and happy
  • I am a beacon of inspiration for my children
  • I contribute to the world by being the best version of myself
  • I confront and question dis-empowering beliefs because I am what I think and my thoughts can change my life
  • I am full of energy, love, light and peace
  • I chose self-discipline today for long-term pleasure

This website is the the first leap of faith toward Hannah’s dream.  It is the physical manifestation in her conviction that ‘The Drawing’ will be published.  Furthermore, this website serves as a platform of self-discipline to practice her writing.

I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by a conscious endeavor
